blog2After a very concentrated 6 months engaged with a series of large works influenced by the terrible events in Syria, my wife and I went for a relaxing holiday touring the West Coast of Scotland from Durness via Skye to Strontian.

Highlights included our visit to Ullapool and the opening of the members exhibition at An Tala Solas. A magnificent painting by Peter White of a boat inspired the photograph taken later on the beach near Achiltibhuie. Maybe abandoned boats rather than buildings will become my next project!
